CVS Manager



This module is available only with the Toolkit.


The CVS manager module provides a powerful and flexible User Interface to the CVS. The CVS is a version control system. Using it, you can record the history of your source files. This module provides all the features required to manage a version control system. It allows to add, update or commit modules, folders or files to the server. The CVS server is a repository to store the source code in a modular form.

The toolbar at the top of the CVS Manager has the following buttons (from left to right):

Right clicking on a partcular item displays the following popup menus:

Open popup menu allows you to select and open a particular folder, pertaining to a particular account.

Commit popup menu allows to commit a particular module, a folder or a file to the CVS server.

Remove popup menu removes a selected file from the CVS server.

Update allows to update folders or files and get copied from the CVS server to the local system.

Diff popup menu allows you to locate the difference of versions of a file (if the version of a file has been upgraded).

Refresh popup menu allows to refresh the modules, folders and files included within a particular CVS account.
